Emmanuel Baptist Church has many mission interest. One interest is in the Mayan natives in the Yucatán area of southern Mexico. For our 2006 mission we went to the remote village of Ticum. Our 2007 mission carried us to the large, central city of Valladolid and village of Uayma. In 2008, Emmanuel folks went on two Yucatán missions, one in July and another where we joined New Ebenezer Baptist on mission in November. Both were to the southern town of Tekax where the Yucatán Evangelistic Association is building an orphanage.
